Aespa Winter’s Unexpected Reaction To Bang Si Hyuk Question Leaves Korean Netizens In Stitches
Aespa members’ reaction to the unexpected “Bang Si Hyuk” question during the press conference has quickly (and unsurprisingly) gone viral. Though the girls’ answers were calm and collected, Winter‘s initial reaction amused Korean netizens.
During their press conference for the release of their first-ever studio album Armaggedon, one of the reporters couldn’t help but bring up the recent drama between HYBE’s founder, Bang Si Hyuk, and ADOR CEO Min Hee Jin. Drama in which aespa was included when Min revealed shocking KakaoTalk messages from Bang that asked her to “crush” aespa.
The drama became an internet sensation, and it’s no surprise that the aespa members themselves have heard about it. So, when asked if “the latest hot topic gave them pressure while preparing for their comeback,” Karina gave a smart and diplomatic answer. Even though Winter, too, added a smooth answer, her initial reaction was to… hold back a laugh!
aespa Directly Responds To HYBE Bang Si Hyuk’s Viral Comment About “Crushing Them”
A NAVER article by a reporter at the press conference revealed a picture of Winter holding back laughter. The article was titled “Aespa’s Winter Tried to Hold Back Laughter at Bang Si-hyuk’s Question on KakaoTalk.” Unsurprisingly, the article title and picture quickly went viral, with one post on TheQoo about it surpassing 53,000 views in just over an hour.
Korean netizens’ reactions to Winter’s picture were just as amusing. While the aespa star managed to kind of hold back her laugh, comments on TheQoo couldn’t do the same.
