Agust D’s “D-DAY” Album Now Has The Best First-Day Sales By A Solo Artist In Hanteo History
Even though Agust D (aka Suga of BTS) has only just dropped his new album, D-DAY, on April 21 KST, he’s already breaking records with the highly anticipated release!
With D-DAY, Agust D now holds the title for the most first-day sales of any solo K-Pop artist on Hanteo.
The physical album sold a whopping 1.07 million units in the first 24 hours according to Hanteo!

With this number, he surpasses the previous record-holder, fellow BTS member Jimin, who had recently been the solo artist with the most first-day album sales with the release of FACE in March. It had made around 1.02 million sales in the first 24 hours.

The title track for the album, “Haegeum”, has already surpassed the 10 million views mark too, less than 24 hours since it was released.
