Ahn So Hee comes back to the big screen after 7 years with “To Busan”
Former Wonder Girl‘s member Ahn So Hee is to make her first big screen comeback since Hellcats in 2008.
According to multiple affiliates, Ahn So Hee is currently busy preparing for an upcoming film titled To Busan. The large-scale disaster film, directed by Yeon Sang Ho, is reported to cost around 10 billion won for production. The film follows the story of a mysterious virus, which originated from a homeless person, spreading fatally throughout the city. It will primarily deal with the people on board the KTX headed to Busan.
Ahn So Hee will take over the role of a baseball manager riding the KTX. Reportedly, “Ahn So Hee’s role is not only a big part in the film, but she will also act as a crucial character in the plot. Ahn So Hee has a natural talent to interpret and play any characters’ role in her own style. Fans are curious on how she will act out the scenes of being chased by zombies.”
This comeback will mark Ahn So Hee’s comeback to the big screen since starring in Hellcats alongside Lee Mi Sook and Kim Min Hee. As a result, many fans are excited to see more mature acting by the idol turned actress. Recently, Ahn So Hee successfully played a role in Heart to Heart for a tvN drama. Previously, she also made a short cameo in the film C’est Si Bon.
Meanwhile, actor Gong Yoo along with Mah Dong Suk and Jung Yu Mi have all confirmed casting for To Busan.
