Recently, Suhyun has been extremely busy with her AKMU promotions and starring on variety shows, and the idol looks healthy and glowing in recent appearances.
Of course, it’s not surprising in an industry where your image is huge that some netizens have negatively shared their belief that Suhyun has gained weight during the past few months. Yet, the idol had the best response when she gave the reason why she can’t lose weight, and it’s going viral.
During a recent live broadcast, Suhyun adorably explained that the reason she “can’t lose weight” is because of fans telling her how cute she is.

In particular, she said that fans were “cute-lighting” her, which is a spin-off of the word gaslighting, which she meant in the way of saying that fans are manipulating her into thinking she’s cute.
Yet, while it isn’t uncommon for netizens to be quite brutal and harsh about idols and their weight, the comments for Suhyun were nothing but positive. In the comments, netizens couldn’t stop gushing over Suhyun’s cuteness, and how that is the best way to describe the idol.
