AleXa Mourns The Death Of Her Father

K-Pop soloist AleXa‘s father has passed away.

AleXa revealed the tragic news via her social media, informing fans that her father recently passed away after battling cancer for about a year. She shared a precious childhood photo of herself with him while reflecting and remembering him.

hello everyone

i wanted to take a moment and share that my father has recently passed away. he was battling cancer for close to a year; he was diagnosed four days before christmas last december. it began as stomach cancer but eventually spread to several other organs and to his bones. in his last few weeks he was in an immense amount of debilitating pain. it brings my family and i such peace and relief to know that his earthly body is no longer suffering, yet it still brings so much pain and sadness to know that he is no longer with us. he passed almost two weeks after his 66th birthday. there is so much i would love to say about my father, but i’m afraid it would take days to share it all. i’m so blessed to have been born his daughter and i will always carry him in my heart. i love you, dad. rest easy and be with God †
