K-Pop Soloist AleXa Hints At Parting Ways With Her Agency Amid Controversy
K-Pop soloist AleXa hinted that she’s parting ways with her agency, ZB LABEL.
In February, AleXa opened up about her lack of promotions. She told fans that she is still a K-Pop idol and that this misconception stems from her lack of promotions. AleXa explained that she hadn’t been promoted adequately for two years, and the reason for it was a mystery, even to her.
I just, I haven’t promoted in like two years. I don’t know why. I can’t tell you why. I don’t know. But I’m hoping that this year I promote. If not this year, then next year, so we’ll see. But right now, we’re working on an English album release, and the first single is coming out Friday, so I hope that though the aspect of K-Pop is not present that you still support me and my artistry moving forward with this American album. Yeah, ’cause it’s kind of all I got right now…

Recently, fans have been spreading awareness of the unfair treatment AleXa is facing. Some shared a thread of multiple instances.
Despite her groundbreaking success and clear passion for music, AleXa has had only one K-pop comeback in over two years—a comeback that was highly successful yet never followed up. pic.twitter.com/O8WeUqWDQ1

Even now, they dropped another song out of nowhere—a track recorded 4 years ago. Despite its brilliance and her signature style, the release was unpromoted and mishandled.
It could've been a proper cb but was wasted due to a complete lack of marketing pic.twitter.com/fN1lPUl2XL

AleXa pioneered K-pop’s first-ever A.I concept, blending futuristic storytelling with a powerful narrative across her music videos. Despite its innovation and potential, her company failed to expand or promote this groundbreaking concept, leaving it neglected and unfinished. pic.twitter.com/QeySSSQ0e3

AleXa’s potential is limitless, but her company is holding her back. Fans demand justice for this incredible artist. It’s time to amplify her story and push for the comebacks and promotions she rightfully deserves. pic.twitter.com/YvGazSXMLh

Fans realized that AleXa’s “new” song and MV, “Under the Armor,” are actually just performance videos that have been “rebranded” as official music videos. They were not even recorded recently, and the song is not in Korean.
Somnies who like AleXa!!
In case you didn't hear about this (bc ZB Label is a mess at managing their artist), this videoclip filmed in 2021 was released today!
AleXa probably doesn't know about it bc ZB has been releasing old projects without her knowledge, but still- https://t.co/2qJWVoHxzM

I’m just hoping that next year… when certain things end… that I’ll be more kind of inclined to do more of what I’ve been wanting to do.
