Chinese Actor And Former SM Entertainment Trainee Discusses Trainee Life With f(x)’s Victoria
A Chinese actor by the name of Neo Hou (also known as Hou Ming Hao) recently gained attention for his interaction with f(x)’s Victoria. Victoria, who is now more commonly known by her Chinese name Song Qian, is currently starring in a variety show with Neo Hou.
Victoria spent most of her youth in South Korea under SM Entertainment. She later debuted in the girl group f(x), later returning to her home country China to promote there. It has been years since any association or activity with f(x) and SM Entertainment. On the variety show, Neo Hou candidly mentioned that he used to be an SM Entertainment trainee too.

He had never run into Victoria at the company as the trainees were kept separate from the singers. Victoria had already debuted then. He lamented that he had been lonely as the only Chinese trainee back then. It was only after he left the company that NCT’s Winwin entered.
Neo Hou left the company due to family matters. He previously shared in an interview that his mother’s health had been failing, and he had returned to take care of her. In addition, he also found the loneliness hard to bear. He eventually made a debut in 2014 as part of the group Fresh Teenager Geek. He left the group in 2016, making a drama debut in Funny Soccer the same year.
