Ariana Grande Confirms She Worked On BLACKPINK And Selena Gomez Collab
Following the announcement that BLACKPINK would be collaborating with another artist, fans were not only excited for new music from the group but looking forward to who the feature would be.
Naturally, BLINKs had narrowed it down to two artists that seemed the most likely for the role: Selena Gomez and Ariana Grande.
While the song now revealed to be “Ice Cream” features Selena Gomez’s voice on the track, everyone thought there wouldn’t be any trace of Ariana Grande.
After producer and writer Tommy Brown revealed who was part of the producing team, it turned out that Ariana Grande had indeed participated in the making of BLACKPINK and Selena Gomez’s “Ice Cream”.
Through his Instagram, Tommy Brown tagged his “awesome friends” who worked on the track alongside BLACKPINK and Selena Gomez, including Victoria Monet, Mr.Franks, and Bekuh Boom. Of course, eagle-eyed fans noticed that Ariana Grande was tagged as well. Fans didn’t have to wait long for it to be confirmed.
Tommy Brown: “Produced and written be me and some of my awesome friends 🥂 •|• excited @blackpink & @selenagomez #IceCream”

After seeing Tommy Brown’s post, Ariana Grande made her own post through her Instagram story. She shared the post and added a message of her own, tagging everyone who’d worked on it:
Proud of the squad and so excited for this! So much love for this team and these ladies!
It looks like BLINKs will get the BLACKPINK and Ariana Grande collaboration they wanted—just not how they’d expected and with the amazing addition of Selena Gomez.
Expectations are even higher for the track’s release now. At least there are only a couple more days to go until August 28.
