Some ARMYs Are Just Now Finding Out Bang Si Hyuk Is Fluent In English

You may be familiar with the iconic phrase “Ayo! Hitman Bang introduces Hit It: The Second Audition.”

Still, despite being spoken in English by HYBE chairman and founder Bang Si Hyuk (also known as Hitman Bang or Bang PD), many ARMYs (BTS fans) didn’t realize until recently that he’s fluent in English.

Blitz (@yoongisrifle on Twitter) made a post remarking on the lack of knowledge of Bang PD’s multilingual skills. Since then, the tweet has gone viral.

This was posted in response to some confusion over Bang Si Hyuk’s newfound friendship with Scooter Braun. Since HYBE acquired Braun-founded company Ithaca Holdings, the two have been spending more and more time together.

Most recently, they even went fishing. Some wondered if they needed a translator to hang out.

So, Blitz made the tweet in reference to this. Bang Si Hyuk does not need a translator as he’s fluent in English.

In response, Blitz is dropping some knowledge. She shared a clip from Bang Si Hyuk’s episode of KBS‘s Good Insight Season 2 that showcases his English fluency.

Additionally, Bang Si Hyuk was close with J.Y. Park (also known as Park Jin Young, JYP, or The Asiansoul), who is also fluent in English.

They used to be good friends. In the past, Bang Si Hyuk actually worked at JYP Entertainment, and the two even once lived together in the United States.
