ARMY’s Unexpected Interaction With BTS’s Jungkook and Jimin Goes Viral Months Later

BTS‘s Jungkook and Jimin‘s new Disney+ travel reality show Are You Sure?! premiered today.

A clip of Jungkook and Jimin unexpectedly meeting ARMY has gone viral on X (formerly Twitter) with 147K views at the time of writing.

In the clip, the two are in Connecticut, shopping in a grocery store. The salesperson, Syarin, asked if they were from South Korea before asking if they were members of BTS. When they confirmed, the salesperson showed them her BTS ARMY tattoo, to their surprise.

Now, the ARMY’s previous tweets about their experience have resurfaced months later, after the episode has been released.

Syarin explained that they were working in the prepared foods/deli section of the supermarket Stop & Shop when they noticed two cute Asian men looking at the pizza. They were stunned to realize that they looked like Jungkook and Jimin.

Look a little closer and realize the other one looks like Jimin. So I stand there watching them look at the pizzas and I’m thinking nah that’s literally not possible. Why and no that would never happen to me. But they look exactly like them.

Syarin bravely asked them if they were from Korea, followed by BTS. Jungkook had cheekily replied, “Maybe,” but Jimin replied honestly.

They both were like wow! And Jimin said thank you lol Kook then asked me about heating up the pizzas but my brain was dying so I had to have a coworker come over and help them. Mind you, no one else in the store seemed to have a clue who they were. My coworker was so confused

Syarin asked Jimin for a photo after a coworker talked them into it. While the BTS members couldn’t at the time as it would reveal the show ahead of its release, he gave Syarin a hug and autograph!

He made a face so I was like oh okay, no problem! But he asked for a pen so my coworker got us a pen and paper and he signed it, gave me a hug, almost forgot his pizza and then left. I then found a corner and died in it for like ten min and spent the next 3hrs in la la land 😂

Then years later I just happen to see him in the most unlikely place, and be the only one that recognized them and somehow got a hug out of the deal.

Syarin praised Jimin and Jungkook for being “so sweet and kind” and “as beautiful in person as on screen.”

Annnddd I would totally call bullshit about it but since they really had chartered a boat two towns over yesterday, and the lovely captain decided to post videos, I have proof 😂

Syarin added that there was no camera crew; it was the two members with their own camera! So, the show is totally theirs.

It was one glorious moment. Rest of the time, nobody wants to be me 😂 they had a gopro or something on them, but I didn’t see an actual film crew.

One of Syarin’s tweets especially caught attention, as they referred to themself as a loser. Another ARMY quote-tweeted it, refuting this. The ARMY pointed out that the members were so happy after meeting an ARMY unexpectedly. They enjoyed their food, knowing an ARMY had made it.
