South Korean Army Trainee Dies During Military Discipline Training
An Army trainee in Inje, Gangwon Province, tragically lost his life after collapsing during military discipline training.
The incident occurred on the evening of May 23, around 5:20 PM, at an Army unit in Inje. According to reports from the Army, the trainee was engaged in military discipline training when he suddenly fell unconscious. At the time of the incident, there were six trainees — including the deceased — participating in the training session.
He was immediately transported to a nearby civilian hospital for emergency medical treatment. Despite the efforts of medical personnel, his condition deteriorated, and he passed away two days later, on May 25.
