On November 5, the nominations for the Seoul Music Awards were announced for the first round of voting. Amongst the nominations, four of the BTS members were nominated for their albums in several categories.

While many fans rightly pointed out how hard it would be to pick between the members, other ARMYs started trending “Seoul Music Awards Rigged,” amongst other hashtags amidst the omission of works by rappers Suga and RM.

Throughout the year, Suga and RM have released some beautiful songs and albums, touching the hearts of fans and music critics after the release.

It meant that after both idols were omitted, netizens couldn’t hide their anger at the nominations.

In particular, while some just shared phrases to start trending, others pointed out reviews of both RM and Suga’s work, as well as accomplishments, sharing why the two members should’ve been included.

Yet, it’s not the first time ARMYs believe two of BTS’s hyung line has been disrespected. Ahead of the 2023 MAMA Awards, the nominations were announced. Many noticed that RM and Jin weren’t on the list.

For many, all of BTS have had a phenomenal year with their releases, and ARMYs are sad that not all of the members are being noticed for their hard work.
