Famous Art Director Goes Viral For Speaking Up About The NewJeans Case
Art director and CEO of Bitnaneun Studio Park Si Young has garnered attention again, this time for speaking out about the NewJeans case.
Not long after NewJeans held an emergency press conference and announced they would terminate exclusive contracts with ADOR, Park took to Instagram to share his opinion.
“Whenever I see men my age saying that the young ones don’t know anything about working in society, I want to knock them on their heads. I think they are confusing social life with slave life. I don’t know what kind of grand social life they’ve had, but what’s with the attitude of continuing to force the slave mentality from their era to the next one?
Is social life such a big thing? Protesting against injustice, cooperating when needed, sharing results, and working together to solve problems. This is the social life I know…
(Corrupt old people were also corrupt young people. They don’t change as they get older, but rather, the problems they neglected when they were young have fermented and become rotten. This is not a matter of age, but rather an issue of attitude.)”
— Park Si Young
Korean netizens agreed with his statement and wished more people had his mindset.
- “Agreed.”
- “Such an amazing adult.”
- “Thank you for these words. I am refreshed after reading this. I hope the corrupt adults who force slave mentality continue to do so among themselves.”
- “I don’t understand why they are so confident clinging to vested interests while leaving malicious comments to young 20-year-olds.”
- “An elite.”
- “The boomers should just continue this type of slave mentality.”
- “I want to show this to my boss.”
- “I wish a tray would fall on the heads of people who talk nonsense.”
- “The office slave mentality should stop in your era. They need to stop acting like boomers.”
- “Everything is well said. If you don’t understand it, just memorize it.”
- “A breath of fresh air.”
