Asian Man Caught On Video Punching Woman In The Face In Front Of Her Children
A viral video of an owner of a beauty supply shop allegedly punching a woman in the face has sparked controversy among netizens whose opinions are split.
The video was uploaded by an activist named Shaun King, who accompanied the footage with a description of the situation. The incident occurred at a beauty supply store in Tulsa, Oklahoma where the woman’s child had apparently walked out with a keychain.
She allegedly took the keychain back after realizing this but the man followed her out and demanded that she keep a better eye on her kids.
As the two confronted each other, the woman could be seen pushing the man’s shoulder as she tried to walk away but the man responded by punching her.
After the camera momentarily lost focus, the woman returned on the screen covering her mouth as the woman filming the video exclaimed that she was bleeding. The man took a look and walked back into the store.
Shaun King added in the caption that the woman required stitches on her mouth.
Sergeant Shane Tuell of the Tulsa Police Department has also stated the accounts of the incident involving the beauty store owner, who was identified as Chang Seok Jun.
“Mr. Jun followed the victim outside to confront her, and she threw the item back inside the store, then pushed him in his upper torso as she was leaving. Mr. Jun then punched the woman in the right side of her mouth with his closed fist.”

Netizens have been split between who was in the wrong.
She clearly didn't touch him unintentionally. She was in his face and then put her hands on him. That is assault whether you like it or not. You do not have the right to put your hands on another individual. You are a disgrace saying "they let him get away with that" ignoring her

First of all, if she returned the item… there was no reason for him to follow her out of the store. That was the end of it. It's really crazy that our men will not stand up for us.

Actually, she was walking AWAY and threw hand her up in a morning to me, that indicated she was done arguing and HE walked into her hand.
He then hit her deliberately.— 🧜♀️👽ExtraZestrial💫🍀 (@jenazy612) August 13, 2018
Meanwhile, Chang Seok Jun has been charged with assault and battery and a misdemeanor and will be appearing in court on September 12 for his ruling, which may include a fine or community service.

“This is at Juns Beauty Supply in Tulsa, OK. The one of North Peoria.
This is the 2nd time an Asian owner of a Black beauty supply shop has physically attacked a Black woman in the past week.
A small child walked out w/ a keychain – she took it back. He followed her out of the store harassing her and telling her that she needed to keep a better eye on her kids. It was a simple mistake. Everybody’s kids have done this. She then tried to walk away.
He punched her in the face as she walked away mind you – bloodying her mouth and requiring stitches”— @ShaunKing
