Popular variety program Ask Us Anything Fortune Teller is receiving a lot of backlash after airing their preview for next week’s episode.

As this week’s episode of Ask Us Anything Fortune Teller came to an end, the show aired a preview of what viewers can expect from next week’s episode. To their dismay, netizens and viewers were in complete shock when they saw the guest for next week. They did not hide their disappointment when they saw that former SS501 member Kim Hyun Joong would be the featured guest. Here are snippets from the preview.

The backlash regarding his appearance on the show is not surprising due to his previous scandals. Back in 2014, the former SS501 member shocked the K-Pop world when an alleged ex-girlfriend stepped forward with photo evidence claiming that he physically assaulted her. After many messy lawsuits, it was revealed that the two had reignited their relationship in 2015 and that his ex-girlfriend, known as Choi at the time, was pregnant. Kim Hyun Joong vehemently denied the claims, stating that he hadn’t seen Choi since she told him of her pregnancy and that he couldn’t be sure he was even the father. Later that year, a paternity test confirmed that Kim Hyun Joong was indeed the father of the child.

Since then, the former boy group member has remained relatively quiet, staying out of the spotlight by remaining inactive as a celebrity in Korea. With the massive impact that the scandal had on his career, many assumed that would not return to the entertainment industry and that he would live his life as an average citizen. With the preview, however, many were left shocked and could not help but express their honest opinions about his seeming return. Here’s what they had to say.
