“It Was Not OK” — ASTRO’s Cha Eunwoo Gets Honest About An On Screen Kiss With A Co-star
ASTRO‘s Cha Eunwoo recently got very honest about his recent on-screen kiss for a K-Drama!
Eunwoo is a talented idol and actor, having started his acting career before his musical debut. He gained popularity after appearing in Gangnam Beauty and the webtoon-based True Beauty.
His latest role is another webtoon adaptation, A Good Day To Be A Dog.
During a radio show appearance before the drama’s airdate, Eunwoo talked about kissing his costar — the dog Finna!
A Good Day To Be A Dog is about a woman who is cursed to turn into a dog every time she is kissed, with the curse only being broken when someone kisses her while in dog form. Eunwoo is the romantic interest who, ironically, is terrified of dogs following a childhood trauma.
It is easy to assume that Eunwoo will have kissed the dog, Finna, at least once during the series, leading to his “reveal” on the radio program. Eunwoo talked about the difficulties of working with Finna, who was not interested in “kissing” him.
The dog was adorable, but it was difficult to make her look at a certain place or turn her head a certain way. And there was a scene when I had to kiss the dog… to turn her back into a human. But she didn’t really like doing that, she wouldn’t give me a kiss. So I had to place a bit of lick-able dog treat inside my mouth. And the dog came to lick. For the first time in my life, I tasted a dog treat.

He then added that he felt like a dog and that it wasn’t good.
Host: What was that like?!
Eunwoo: I felt like… a dog.
Host: How did it taste? Was it OK?
Eunwoo: It was not OK.
Host: Is it like… salty? Or sweet?
Eunwoo: You can give it a try, too…
