“Why Didn’t You Respond To My DM?” — ASTRO’s Cha Eunwoo Is A Successful Fanboy, Collaborating With One Of His Favorite Artists
ASTRO‘s Cha Eunwoo is well-loved among fans for his immense music skills, acting ability, and incredible personality. There’s no denying that he’s a famous celebrity, who even other celebrities become fans of.
But in Cha Eunwoo’s recent videos to his new YouTube channel, the idol showed his genuine fanboy self as he got to meet and collaborate with one of his favorite artists, Norwegian singer Peder Elias.
Fans knew the collaboration between the two singers was coming after Peder Elias exposed Cha Eunwoo’s true personality on Instagram, showing that Cha Eunwoo was a successful fanboy after talking about his admiration of Peder Elias for so long.
But fans weren’t prepared for just how angelic their collaboration of “Bonfire” would sound. And they certainly weren’t prepared to see Cha Eunwoo’s own adorable fanboying. Despite being a famous idol, Cha Eunwoo was shy about having sent Peder Elias a DM six to eight months ago.
Despite not getting a reply, Cha Eunwoo “kept waiting” until he heard Peder Elias would be holding concerts in South Korea.
Fortunately, one of Cha Eunwoo’s staff ran into Peder Elias’s and told them the story, which is how they finally got to collaborate.
Even before Cha Eunwoo met Peder Elias, he was practicing his introduction, “feeling shy.”
And, just like any fan would, got excited when he heard the singer’s voice nearby.
Of course, they immediately got along, and Cha Eunwoo even playfully asked Peder Elias about not responding to his DM. Which Peder Elias quickly clarified was only because he didn’t see the message.
And Cha Eunwoo expressed his excitement over Peder Elias’s upcoming music.
And, since Cha Eunwoo had a shoot during Peder Elias’s upcoming concert, the singer assured Cha Eunwoo he’ll “invite [Cha Eunwoo] to [his] show” next time he comes to South Korea.
Despite being an incredibly famous celebrity, Cha Eunwoo is also certainly a relatable fanboy.
