ASTRO’s Cha Eunwoo, Rebel Wilson, and Charles Melton Reportedly Cast For Hollywood Movie “K-Pop: Lost in America”
ASTRO‘s Cha Eunwoo, Rebel Wilson, and Charles Melton have reportedly been cast for Hollywood film K-Pop: Lost in America.
According to an exclusive report from Deadline, Rebel Wilson and Charles Melton have been cast in K-Pop: Lost in America. The story of the film will follow a K-Pop group that becomes stranded in Texas just days before their American debut at New York’s Madison Square Garden. With no money, phones, or transportation, the group must find a way to make it to New York City while overcoming their individual differences and whatever obstacle is in their way.
In a separate exclusive report from Star News, Cha Eunwoo would also join the cast and make his Hollywood debut. He has already been offered a role in the movie and is currently postively considering the offer. He has reportedly already begun arranging his schedules for the Fall, when filming for the movie is expected to begin. However, there may be delays in the filming process, whether it be Cha Eunwoo’s busy schedule or production delays.
The production team is holding auditions for various roles in the movie, including the actors who would make up the idol group in the movie. The project is being led by producers Lynda Obst (Interstellar, Sleepless in Seattle) and Miky Lee and will be directed by Yoon Je Kyun (Tidal Wave, Ode to My Father)
