“Can I Console You?”: AROHA Remembers ASTRO Moonbin’s Comforting Words And Pure Heart
ASTRO‘s agency, Fantagio, has confirmed Moonbin‘s untimely passing. He passed away earlier today at the age of 25.
In an official statement, Fantagio apologized for the “sad, heartbreaking news” and offered sincere condolences to the bereaved. Additionally, the agency asked members of the public to refrain from speculation.
This is Fantagio.
First of all, we would like to apologize for the sad, heartbreaking news.
On April 19, ASTRO member Moonbin suddenly left us to become a star in the sky.
Although we cannot compare our sorrow to the grief that the bereaved families are feeling, losing a beloved son and brother, the ASTRO members, fellow Fantagio artists, company executives, and employees are mourning the deceased in great sadness and shock.
It is even more heartbreaking to deliver this news so suddenly to the fans who have supported Moonbin and sent him their love. We are heartbroken because we know the feelings of the deceased, who always loved and thought of his fans more than anyone else.
We sincerely ask you to refrain from speculative and malicious reports so that the bereaved families, who are in a state of great sadness and sorrow due to the sudden news, can honor the deceased.
According to the wishes of the bereaved families, the funeral will be held as quietly as possible with the family members and company colleagues.
Once again, we send our deepest condolences to the deceased.

AROHAs are now struggling to cope with the sudden, tragic loss of ASTRO’s beloved member. Some are turning to friends, family, and fellow fans for comfort, while others are turning to Moonbin himself.
In an audio-only broadcast that aired on October 6, 2021, Moonbin’s voice soothed AROHA’s worries with these kind words; “You’re tearing up for no reason,” he said. “can I console you?”
“Why are you crying? It’s okay. Sometimes you get teary.”
“At times like that, sometimes it helps to just cry it all out.”
“You can calm down after a good cry. It’s okay.”
“It will all work out. Don’t worry.”
Now, AROHAs are holding Moonbin’s words in their hearts, some wishing they could stay those words back to him.
I feel empty since I saw the news but then I heard his voice in this video and I cried. I'm still crying..

Sometimes, the one that understands the most, is the one that suffers too. Sometimes, the comfort that they give, is the comfort that they need. Sometimes, they are also the one that needs to hear the words that they utter to other people. They need those words too. https://t.co/utlGE0c7zl
