Why Netizens Are Boycotting ATEEZ’s Latest Collab
ATEEZ recently made their comeback with the 10th mini album GOLDEN HOUR : Part.1 and the title track “WORK.”
Now, “WORK. Pt.2” has dropped. It’s a remix by Dutch DJ, digital artist, record producer, musician, and songwriter Don Diablo.

Yet, many ATINYs are boycotting this new collaboration. The reason for the boycott is due to Don Diablo’s ties to Zionism.
Since October, the death toll in the Gaza Strip has reportedly surpassed 36K. Over 80K Palestinians have been injured, starved, displaced, etc.
In a resurfaced clip from 2019, Don Diablo performed in Tel Aviv, Israel. He not only performed there but expressed that he missed it there and that they were the “best crowd in the world.”
Israel is considered an “apartheid state” due to its illegal occupation and administration of Palestine. According to Wikipedia, “Zionism is a nationalist movement that emerged in Europe in the late 19th century as a colonial project in pursuit of the establishment of a homeland for the Jewish people, ideally in Palestine, a region roughly corresponding to the Land of Israel in Jewish tradition.”
Israel’s policies and actions in its ongoing occupation and administration of the Palestinian territories have drawn accusations that it is committing the crime of apartheid. Leading Palestinian, Israeli and international human rights groups have said that the totality and severity of the human rights violations against the Palestinians residing in the occupied territories, and by some in Israel proper, amount to the crime against humanity of apartheid. Israel and some of its Western allies have rejected the accusation, with the former often labeling the charge antisemitic.

Consequently, netizens are calling for a boycott of the collaboration between ATEEZ and Don Diablo. So, ATINYs are trending #KQDivestFromZionism, #kpop4palestine, and #goldenhourforpalestine via social media.
Atiny! This is an official call to action! We are BOYCOTTING this remix! Don Diablo has shown support for Israel and that's NOT OKAY!
Please take time to email KQ about this! If anyone is willing to make a template (in eng and kor) I can link it below after I review it! -🧸 https://t.co/lCFTQYg8X0

@dulcenocandy and with Ateez’s messaging being about resistance and rising against oppression this collaboration is disappointing to say the least #ateez_official_ #atiny #kpoptiktok #kpopfyp
