On August 9, KQ Entertainment released a new remix of ATEEZ‘s hit song “WORK. ” The remix, titled “WORK Pt.4 – ATEEZ X G-Eazy,” features American rapper Gerald Earl Gillum, known as G-Eazy.

ATINYs were disturbed as soon as they heard G-Eazy’s addition to the song. It felt unconnected to the song’s original meaning and instead appeared to be used to shade his ex-partner Halsey, who is a Libra, with the line “We’re far away if Libra is her sign.”

Halsey and G-Eazy’s romance was documented in August 2017 with the release of “Him & I” before going official in September. Ironically, the lyrics claim he would never cheat on Halsey.

Yet, in July 2018, Halsey shared that the pair had split, later heavily implying the rapper’s cheating had caused it.

Halsey also clapped back at mocking Instagram comments. The singer indicated that G-Eazy had been abusive in their relationship.

Knowing the history, ATINYs naturally were turned off by ATEEZ’s collaboration with G-Eazy. They felt it was exceedingly distasteful to use ATEEZ’s song to harass his ex continually. His addition also contained offensive and sexually crass lyrics.

So, ATINYs agreed to boycott the collaboration. They will continue to stream the previous versions of “WORK.” Some even made their own remixes of the English version of “WORK” without G-Eazy.

Yet, many ATINYs are taking it further and demanding KQ Entertainment takedown “WORK Pt.4 – ATEEZ X G-Eazy” entirely. ATEEZ BELIEVE SURVIVORS (@AtinySurvivors on X) is dedicated to the mission and urges fellow ATINYs to join and take action.

They have released an official 2-page statement on behalf of ATINYs, demanding KQ Entertainment take down the song due to G-Eazy’s “misogyny and harm to ATEEZ’s future collaborations.” ATINYs believe the song is a mockery of ATEEZ and offensive, as it also promotes rape culture.

They detailed their reasons, citing specific offensive lyrics. ATINYs also fear this collaboration could risk future collaborations, as G-Eazy’s bad reputation is known in the music industry.

ATINYs are emailing KQ Entertainment, sharing the template on social media, trending hashtags #ATEEZ, #에이티즈, #WORK, #ATINYSurvivors, #ATEEZbelieveSurvivors, #ATEEZxNotG_Eazy, and #TakeWORK_pt4down while tagging ATEEZ’s official account, the company, and RCA Records.

The ultimate goal is to receive an official apology and have the remix featuring G-Eazy taken down for good.
