Below is the official statement.
Hello, this is KQ Entertainment. Thank you to the fans who have always supported and cared for ATEEZ. Although we have informed fans about fan club etiquette, private schedules, and prohibition of visiting private spaces several times, there are still cases of invasion of privacy through illegal activities.
In addition, despite the restraints of the staff, excessive behavior such as following unofficial schedules and privates spaces for personal gain, are not only causing damage to the company, but also to the artists, who are suffering psychological pain.
In particular, we recently caught a situation where tracking devices were attached to the artists’s vehicle to illegally collect location information. We have requested the local police stations to track it down without any leniency or agreement.
Going forward, we will continue to take legal action, including the black list system for acts that infringe on the privacy of artists, and we will exclude all fan participation and activities without prior notice for those that violate these guidelines.
We are also receiving reports on infringement of artists’ privacy through the email below. We ask for your cooperation. For the safety of ATEEZ and the fans, we as for an orderly and upright fan culture and ask you once again for you cooperation. Thank you.
