Just a few months ago, Mingi attracted attention when he dyed his hair a vibrant yellow, orange, and red ombre that resembled real flames.

Fans absolutely loved the look and pondered where he could have gotten the idea from. Some guessed that he was inspired by one of ATEEZ’s albums…

…or even by a fan who talked to Mingi with a similar hair color!

Most believed that Mingi was continuing his unintentional mimicking of popular anime characters. The flame hair, in particular, was thought to be inspired by Rengoku, a character from the popular anime Demon Slayer. 

Mingi’s newest hairstyle has fans in awe and wondering if he’s continued the pattern of copying anime characters!

ATEEZ recently began the European leg of their ATEEZ WORLD TOUR THE FELLOWSHIP: BREAK THE WALL. The group’s first show in Amsterdam kicked off with a bang and revealed Mingi’s new short, pink hairstyle!

Combined with the glasses he’s wearing, it seems like Mingi took some inspiration from Kusuo Saiki, the main character of The Disastrous Life of Saiki K.
