So, it was no surprise that he went to the Lego store in New York City. He shared his adventure with ATINYs via TOKTOQ.
Seonghwa also included a photo of the “PLAY NYC” sign, which featured the various Pride flags representing different identities of the LGBTQIA+ community.
ATINYs who are also members of the LGBTQIA+ community, were pleasantly surprised to see Seonghwa’s post, and many felt loved by his inclusion of the photo.
i saw a lot of people still asking if this is real and i promise it is he posted it on toktoq!! seonghwa loves you real 1000% not a lie :3 pic.twitter.com/4NRGgqmRRu

Yet, the post also began to receive hate comments from ATINYs who do not support the LGBTQIA+ community. Some comments were very hateful, and they have received community violations.
A few fans attempted to “defend” Seonghwa’s actions by claiming he didn’t know what the flags meant. Other ATINYs are jumping to his defense, saying he is a grown man.
why is “he doesnt know what it means” an acceptable reaction to an idol posting something thats very much lgbtq ? do u think he lives under a rock and doesnt know same genders kiss ?!? A SHOCKER
