ATEEZ‘s Wooyoung is going viral for his comments about bowing and respecting seniors.
Wooyoung has spoken on the topic of manners and how to greet senior artists before, but recently, it was brought up again when he and fellow member San appeared in a video for Vogue Korea.
During the video, Wooyoung pointed out he was like a king in the old age, and San clarified by explaining that he takes politeness and manners very seriously.
They also added that fellow ATEEZ member Seonghwa was similar, but Wooyoung joked that San was less strict than him. He added that if someone doesn’t greet him, he doesn’t respond with “Why are you not saying hello,” and his reaction is more introverted.
Wooyoung’s response is very different from what he tells them. He then shared a comment that gained attention, adding, “In the eastern Land of Courtesy, bows are done with your waist, not with your neck.”

When the video was posted, netizens unsurprisingly wanted to know about the tea, but while some were worried about the backlash Wooyoung may receive, others shared their own opinions on the issue in Korea.
