ATTRAKT’s CEO Reacts To Major Legal Win — Calls Out The Givers’ Ahn Sung Il
ATTRAKT CEO Jeon Hong Joon reacted to the label’s court win against FIFTY FIFTY members.
On August 28, a judge ruled to dismiss an injunction to suspend FIFTY FIFTY’s contract with ATTRAKT.
The move is a major blow against FIFTY FIFTY’s claims of mistreatment as it signals the court found little evidence to support the allegations.
According to reports, the dismissal follows FIFTY FIFTY’s refusal to cooperate in mediation court. When the group’s lawyer filed for a traditional trial, the judge dismissed the request.
In response to the dismissal, ATTRAKT CEO Jeon Hong Joon spoke briefly with the media. According to Yonhap News, the CEO revealed that he would now focus on bringing The Givers’ Ahn Sung Il, who is accused of being the mastermind behind FIFTY FIFTY’s attempted departure, to justice.
We have a lot of evidence that points to (Ahn Sung Il’s) tampering. We plan to now focus on the criminal lawsuit against Ahn Sung Il and Director Baek.

Although this doesn’t necessarily signal the end of the legal saga between the label and its artists, the vast majority of Korean netizens celebrated the news. Read more about it in the link below.
