On February 15, the legendary idol made a rare appearance on a YouTube show. The idol, who was part of the first-generation K-Pop group Baby V.O.X, spoke about her past idol days.
Notably, the idol spoke about the alleged in-fighting that went on in the group. Baby V.O.X was often in the headlines due to lineup shake-ups leading to widespread allegations of fighting within the group.
In the video, the former idol shockingly revealed that the older members were kicked out of the group due to their age by the label and that there weren’t any issues between members.
I debuted as part of the maknae line and had two unnies, but they were kicked out of the group by the label due to their age. This was frustrating because fans thought the members were kicked out due to fighting within the group.

The former idol then spoke about what led to the group breaking up.
Our 7th album wasn’t released due to issues with sampling, and by then, our contract with the label had already ended. We decided to go our separate ways. I married at 31 and had my first child at 32. My eldest is now a Middle School student. I think I wanted to find security due to the fact that we had received so much hate, so I went on a lot of blind dates. I married my husband after dating for a year.
