BABYMONSTER’s Ahyeon Debuts A Unique Accessory And Immediately Goes Viral
Ahyeon, a member of the rookie girl group BABYMONSTER, is no stranger to going viral.
The idol quite literally took over the internet with her jaw-dropping live performance of Charlie Puth’s song “Dangerously” during Last Evaluation, the YouTube series through which the final lineup of BABYMONSTER was picked by YG Entertainment.

Ahyeon also drew netizens’ attention due to her absence from the debut single of BABYMONSTER, “Batter Up,” which she had to sit out due to health reasons. Anticipation ran high when she was announced to be rejoining the group for their second single, “SHEESH.” In fact, her solo teaser was the first one to be released for “SHEESH,” which, once again, generated quite the buzz.
Overall, it’d be safe to say that Ahyeon’s celebrity, despite being in the public eye for such a brief period, is undeniable. But recently, the star-in-making went viral once again, only this time for much unserious reason.
On April 27, Ahyeon posted a selfie on the fan communication platform Weverse. Unlike other times when her visuals steal the light, this picture’s main focus was her phone case. Ahyeon could be seen clicking the picture, holding the handle of a comically large phone case shaped like a cast iron skillet.
The photo went viral almost immediately as fans recalled all the other eccentric phone cases the idol had featured in her pictures before.
