BABYMONSTER’s Upcoming Album Details Are Released With A Huge Surprise — Netizens Are Furious About One Thing

BABYMONSTER is set to make their first comeback with seven members after the return of Ahyeon.

Ahead of the album’s release in April, YG Entertainment founder Yang Hyun Suk posted a video teasing the tracks that fans could expect.

Along with many of the tracks, it was track three called “LIKE THAT,” which he explained would be a surprise.

Yang Hyun Suk revealed that after Ahyeon’s amazing pre-debut cover of Charlie Puth‘s song “Dangerously,” the singer had gifted BABYMONSTER the song “LIKE THAT.”

He then ended by explaining that he saw this mini-album as BABYMONSTER’s official debut, as the members would be promoting.

When the news and teaser were first released, netizens praised the direction of BABYMONSTER. Some explained how important Ahyeon is, with that being the reason Charlie Puth gave the song, but also how age-appropriate and unique the teaser seemed to be for a group with members that are minors.

Sadly, like many past announcements, one thing overshadowed some fans’ excitement, and it was the presence of YG founder Yang Hyun Suk. Like in the recent video, every BABYMONSTER announcement has featured Yang Hyun Suk, whether it was the debuting lineup, the return of Ahyeon, or the most recent title track update.
