Legendary boy band the Backstreet Boys‘ members are fans of BTS?!
Howie Dorough and AJ McLean recently attended the Billboard No.1’s party. On the carpet, an interviewer asked, “Who has been, for you guys, the No.1 artist for 2024?”
AJ revealed that thanks to his kids, he’s now a certified Taylor Swift fan, a Swiftie. Yet, he added, “You know what? There are so many great new artists, but I was a big, big fan of Jungkook.”

This isn’t the first time the Backstreet Boys have praised BTS. In 2018, Nick Carter revealed they are huge fans of the K-Pop group and learned a lot about BTS through their mutual friend and collaborator, Steve Aoki.
BTS and the Backstreet Boys met that same year at the Westwood One Backstage event ahead of the 2018 Billboard Music Awards.
