Legendary OST Singer Suspects That The North Koreans Had A Secret Listening Device Set Up In Her Hotel Room
Singer Baek Ji Young is the ultimate legend. Having sung so many hit OSTs for globally-acclaimed K-Dramas such as Secret Garden and more, it is no wonder that even the North Koreans were enamored. She was once invited to the country in 2018.
On her YouTube channel, she recently talked about her 2018 visit to the country. She was warned before her visit not to talk about sensitive topics such as their leadership, government and politics, economics, freedom, and more. She cautiously suggested that she thought her room might have been tapped, due to a specific incident.
Most of the trip went off without a hitch. One day, she was wondering to herself why there weren’t many towels in her room. She spoked out loud as she talked to herself, brushing it off as the hotel conserving towels.
She stepped out of her room for awhile. When she returned, she found that some towels had been delivered to her room.
A huge stack of towels had been placed on her sofa.
Baek Ji Young glossed over the event humorously, claiming that the agent listening to her had given her a present of towels.
