BEAST reported to be establishing their own agency with former JYP producer
Though no official word from Cube Entertainment that they have officially parted ways with BEAST, the talented idol group is said to be establishing their own agency in latest reports.
According to entertainment official on October 27th, BEAST is teaming up with a former JYP Pictures producer to create their own independent label for their activities.
Through this pursuit, the group opens themselves up for activities in several areas including singing and acting in both dramas and films as well as participating in entertainment programs. In addition to the members themselves, it is reported that their manager has also joined them in their new venture.
Following initial reports, JYP Entertainment revealed their position, saying they are unable to comment on their former producer as they are no longer associated. Additionally, he only worked for JYP Pictures on collaboration basis but was never a part of the agency itself.
BEAST’s contract with Cube Entertainment expired on October 16th with no mention of any renewal in the works. Both parties have kept quiet about the contracts, not announcing the current status.
The group debuted in 2009, and has spawned hits such as “Fiction,” “Good Luck,” “Breathe,” “Midnight Sun,” and more.
