On December 2, BY-U shared an announcement in English and Korea announcing that members Chaeeun, Sori, and Gahyun had ended their exclusive contracts. Member Via, who was added to the group in June 2023, was announced to be taking part in a new project under the company.

First and foremost, we sincerely thank all the fans who have always supported and loved Beauty Box.

As of December 2, 2024, we have mutually agreed to terminate the exclusive contracts with Gahyeon, Sori, and Chaeun of Beauty Box.

For the progress of a new project by BYU Entertainment, Gahyeon, Sori, and Chaeun expressed their intention to no longer participate, and both parties have reached an agreement on contract termination.

We deeply appreciate the love and support you have shown Beauty Box during this time.

Lastly, Via has agreed to join the new project and will continue her activities as an artist under BY-U Entertainment.

We wholeheartedly support Gahyeon, Sori, and Chaeun, wishing them a bright and prosperous future ahead.

As we embark on a new project with Via in 2025, we kindly ask for your continued support and love. We are working hard to prepare for new activities and promise to return with our best efforts. Thank you.
