Belift Lab Releases Official Statement Regarding Deleting Comments On Plagiarism Denial Video — Invites More Ire
Belift Lab recently released a video in order to refute plagiarism claims. The video invited much criticism from the general public, with many calling it a weak attempt to turn the public around.
Later on, they were accused of deleting comments that “hit the nail on the head.” The particular comment claimed that the company could have solved all accusations by simply revealing their work process such as moodboards, sketches, or storyboards. Instead, they focused on trying to accuse NewJeans instead.
“No but all things aside, if you want to clearly prove that you didn’t plagiarize, shouldn’t you bring evidence from the planning stage, such as sketches and reference images, etc., to refute it…?”
“Belift Lab has never deleted comments on our statement video. The claims that we have deleted specific comments is false, and we will be collecting evidence in preparation for legally dealing with those who have maliciously spread such falsehoods.”
