PinkFantasy debuted in 2018 as an eight-membered group with the digital single “Iriwa.” The group were known for having a masked member, Daewang, whose face was promised to be revealed in the future.
In 2023, the group originally announced they would enter a temporary hiatus beginning on January 1 as members pursue different activities. Member Daewang announced that she would be producing a mixed gender group with a concept of “queer liberation,” that included two members of PinkFantasy.
Other members have continued activities as I:Z, which originally began as a subunit of PinkFantasy.
