Beomhan Refutes Sexual Assault Allegations

Former FM Entertainment trainee Beomhan has addressed sexual assault allegations made against him.
A few hours ago, TikTok user @oyimioo shared a post consisting of photos via the video-sharing app. The post was titled “My experience with beomhan with proofs,” with the caption “Social media isn’t real.” It has now gone viral with 136K views at the time of writing, as netizens expressed confusion, shock, and concern.
@oyimioo claimed that Beomhan and they had begun exchanging messages via Snapchat on January 30, 2022, after realizing they shared mutual friends. They allegedly met in person for the first time on May 22, 2022.
Beomhan was allegedly in New York for two weeks. During this time, they would allegedly see each other on and off. Since then, @oyimioo began to refer to Beomhan as “Harry.”
@oyimioo alleged that he would complain about fan service rules before he asked them how they were doing and offered a drink. They allegedly declined due to being underage at the time. It was then that @oyimioo recounted the alleged sexual assault.
@oyimioo alleged that they told him no, but he allegedly laughed it off. They allegedly escaped and used what little money they had to call an Uber ride.
They added that after that night, Beomhan allegedly blocked them. @oyimioo claimed that they chose to share this story to help other sexual assault survivors.
A couple of hours later, @oyimioo shared a second post explaining more. It provided screenshots between them and an alleged friend after the alleged assault. The third slide was a letter of complaint made at a police station.
Shortly after, Beomhan addressed these absurd allegations made against him. He posted a series of posts via Instagram Stories, firmly denying the accusations.
First, Beomhan urged any real victims to call the National Sexual Assault Hotline. He emphasized that sexual assault is not a joke.
Beomhan addressed the alleged date that he flew to New York. He provided proof that he was actually in Guam at the time.
Beomhan also pointed out that the alleged photo he sent via Snapchat can be easily found on Pinterest. It was taken from there and edited. He also denied having Snapchat.
Concerning the next date, Beomhan had another alibi. He proved that he was actually livestreaming from South Korea during that time, so he was not even in New York.
Beomhan again showed that another photo of him used for “evidence” was found via Pinterest. He explained it was taken when traveling with his family to Bali. He added that his tattoo, which he got in 2023, was visible (yet the alleged story occurred in 2022).
Finally, Beomhan pointed out that the alleged police report referred to him as “Harey Wu” and “Harry Wu,” even misspelling it once. His legal name is Harald Wu.
Beomhan concluded by asking again for others to refrain from joking about such a serious matter. He expressed his sympathies to those who are victims.
Additionally, fans came to Beomhan’s defense. They pointed out that the police report didn’t look real either.
regarding beomhan, this is roughly what an actual NYPD police report would look like if one was filed btw. also, if there is not an ongoing investigation happening, which beom would know about since he is not anonymous, police reports are public record, anyone can request them. pic.twitter.com/YIIDdB54T4

I’m sorry but but all of the “evidence” regarding Beomhan S/A-ing somebody doesn’t line up. These pictures can be found on Pinterest and the police report??? A real police report wouldn’t misspell a name. I hope op isn’t lying cause this is a SERIOUS crime. pic.twitter.com/7LoDqVIXok

Around the same time Beomhan addressed the allegations, @oyimioo updated TikTok a third time. The first slide claimed to provide more “proof” on Beomhan. Yet, the second slide was just an empty threat to join their Discord.
Netizens realized that the allegations were fabricated just for a “joke” or advertisement for a Discord. Those who did go to the user’s Discord discovered only more horrific and disturbing content.
i don't follow beomhan, but there is no reason to create serious allegations against someone that did nothing of the sort. ESPECIALLY allegations like this.
