Former FM Entertainment trainee Beomhan has received increased criticism lately after a series of profanity-laced rants.
Initially, Beomhan earned backlash for his comments following the U.S. presidential election results. While he intended to cope with a bad situation with humor, viewers did not receive it well, as many felt the jokes were insensitive, ill-timed, and not his place as a man.
Everyone who is a woman, this week, rest in peace, and I’d like to say, ‘Rest in peace’ to all women, and we have failed you this week and as a country. And, Donald Trump, congratulations on being the president. However, I would like to say that Beyoncé had the best music video of all time, and thank you, Beyoncé. …And if you’re a woman, just know that we stand with you, and I am so sorry and rest in peace and good luck. I’m so sorry. And please take a mental health day and go shopping or something.

In his most recent statement, Beomhan claimed he would be “back soon” and seek professional help.
Since the controversies, Beomhan’s event was canceled. Previously, Beomhan was scheduled for his first-ever event in Tennessee on November 16th and 17th, as he would take over PLOGHVEY K-POP in Knoxville.

Many netizens commended PLOGHVEY Group for their decision. Beomhan’s controversy is still a hot topic on social media.
Now, a former staff who worked with Beomhan has spoken up about him.
Fans of Beomhan will be familiar with Spencer. When Beomhan was under his former company, Spencer often attended events with him and was featured in live broadcasts.

Despite what appeared to be a good relationship between an artist and staff at the time, Spencer has now broken his silence amid Beomhan’s controversy. He revealed that he and Beomhan are not on good terms, as they haven’t spoken in over a year. Spencer also erased any trace of him on his social media as soon as possible. He emphasized, “I do not want to be associated with that person in any way, shape or form.”
Spencer believes that Beomhan’s “true colors are now finally being brought to light for the public as well.” He is sympathetic to those affected by Beomhan’s words and actions. Read his complete statement below.
