At around 10:30 PM on December 3, President Yoon Suk Yeol declared martial law, which sent many Koreans into panic. With the introduction of the law, there was a lot of uncertainty as new rules were put into place regarding politics, media, and political gatherings.

BIBI was on a live stream, and netizens shared that in real-time, fans were telling the idol about what was happening.

A fan then shared the clip where BIBI was reading comments that told her to watch the news. While confused at first, BIBI went on her phone to try and see what fans were talking about, and as she started reading, she said, “What is it?” before quickly ending the live broadcast.

The emergency martial law was revoked around 4:30 AM on December 4, 2024 (KST), as President Yoon presided over the Cabinet meeting to approve its lift.
