Big Hit Entertainment Shares More Details About BTS’s “BE”
BTS‘s new album BE is nearly here, but there’s still plenty of time to tease fans before it drops!
Today, Lenika Cruz, senior editor at The Atlantic, shared details from a new Big Hit Entertainment press release on Twitter. This includes the subunits for BE and information about the album’s concept.
Through BE, Big Hit Entertainment says that BTS expressed their “mixed feelings” about the COVID-19 pandemic, and how it has affected their lives.
BTS opens themselves up to express their mixed feelings about this situation—fear and anxiety mingled with the determination to overcome all this.

BE isn’t just an album; it’s an “existential journey” about BTS and ARMY in 2020, and the feelings they experienced this year.
The album contains the band’s emotions and ruminations they had throughout this year, and the story of “us” continuing the existential journey. That is also the reasoning behind the album’s title, BE, that stands for “to be” or “existence” and does not abide by any form.

BE and the music video for its title track “Life Goes On” will be released at 2 PM (KST) on November 20. Find out more about each song on the album here:
