Big Hit Entertainment And Source Music Confirm Joint Girl Group Debut Date
Big Hit Entertainment and Source Music have confirmed the planned debut date for their joint girl group, which is currently targeting a 2021 debut.
A statement released through Big Hit Entertainment confirmed the news, stating both companies would be collaborating on the girl group.
In cooperation with Source Music, we will be holding our ‘PLUS GLOBAL AUDITION’ to look for trainees to join our new girl group, that has the goal of debuting in 2021.

Based on the know-how that the two companies have accumulated through their groups BTS, TXT, and GFRIEND, both domestically and abroad, the two companies plan to put all of their resources into producing the next-generation girl group.

The girl group formed through the ‘PLUS GLOBAL AUDITION’ will be led by Big Hit’s CEO Bang Si Hyuk and CBO Min Hee Jin. Bang Si Hyuk will be in charge of music production and general production, while Min Hee Jin will be in charge of creative branding, which includes things such as concepts, videos, and image.
Auditions will be held in 16 cities around the world, including Los Angeles, California and New York City, New York in the United States, Perth and Melbourne in Australia, Singapore, and Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City In Vietnam.
