BIGBANG's G-Dragon Gets Side-Eyed For Following aespa's Karina On Instagram

In the past, BIGBANG‘s G-Dragon has come under some scrutiny for his social media usage when it comes to interacting with female K-Pop idols. For instance, a couple of years ago, his use of one of IVE Wonyoung‘s stickers on his Instagram story (along with other “evidence”) started a bizarre rumor that the two of them were dating; prior to that, his likes on the posts of f(x)‘s Krystal got so much heat that the girl group member had to shut down her account temporarily.

And now, once again, G-Dragon has been getting criticism for his actions yet again on the social media platform, all because of who he’s following.

The BIGBANG member has a well-known side account, @peaceminusone, which is private unlike his main account, @xxxibgdrgn. Allegedly, this is an account he used in the past to follow IU which, once again, caused rumors to circulate the two before he eventually unfollowed her.

An eagle-eyed netizen was doing some snooping when, looking at accounts that follow aespa‘s Karina, they noticed that G-Dragon’s side account was one of them. Since the follows on his own account are private, this is the only way to see that he’s following her.

While this seems like a harmless act to many, the original person who made this discovery thought it was odd that he would follow her on his side account, rather than his main, especially given the “controversies” he’s faced in the past for such behavior. Some think that even if he doesn’t have any weird reason for following her, he should be more conscientious about this sort of thing because of his past controversies.
