BIGBANG’s Taeyang Reveals How He Really Feels About The BLACKPINK Members “Teasing” Him On Stage
BIGBANG‘s Taeyang has been in the K-Pop industry for over 15 years, and it means that he has been through it all and isn’t afraid to talk about other groups.
Recently, Taeyang revealed how he felt after realizing he was being “teased” by a certain girl group!
Of course, after being in the industry for so long and being part of YG Entertainment (until he recently left for THE BLACK LABEL), it means he has a firm friendship with the members of BLACKPINK.
When Taeyang released his new song “VIBE” with BTS’s Jimin, Jisoo and Jennie couldn’t stop teasing their senior when sharing their support.
The first was a comment from Jennie as, under one of Taeyang’s posts, the BLACKPINK idol commented, “I missed you so much.” The reason that it was so funny was that Jennie was teasing Taeyang for something he said at a concert to fans, and it became a meme.
Jisoo‘s comment was similar, but this time it appeared on her Instagram story. Along with the song, Jisoo also expressed her inner meme after commenting, “Yeoreobun…”
In particular, during concerts, members like Jisoo and Jennie have been known to mimic Taeyang during their shows.

After all the teasing, Taeyang finally revealed how he feels about the way the BLACKPINK members love to mimic his greetings.
Taeyang recently sat down with 1theK and took part in the DDP. IDDP is a show where idols read their trivia on their different online pages and respond to it.
When Taeyang was looking through the popular forum site called TheQoo, one of the posts spoke about the BLACKPINK members copying his greetings. After seeing the post, Taeyang explained, “I never knew they were this serious about memes.”
Although the captions said he was sad, Taeyang explained that a lot of the videos of the members copying him would appear on his feed because of the algorithm. He even explained that he didn’t even know that they’d copied him when he saw them appear.
Taeyang was then asked how he felt about the videos. Although he knew that they were only teasing him, he explained that it sometimes gave him mixed feelings, adding, “It makes me happy, but at the same time, I think they’re making fun of me.”
Yet, the teasing seemed to have stemmed from a long time ago as Taeyang revealed a story about the members.
What I remember that BLACKPINK always came to my solo concerts. I remember them coming backstage after concerts and copying the things I did. I guess they must’ve thought it was funny from back then.

Although Taeyang said that he sometimes worried they were making fun of him, his next story showed that it definitely had the feeling of a sibling relationship.
Taeyang started reading comments praising the members, and it seemed like he couldn’t agree more.

As always, even though Taeyang has left YG Entertainment, he still has a strong bond and friendship with the members of BLACKPINK.
