They will not permit unofficial merchandise in any way.

BIGHIT MUSIC has issued a warning against trademark and copyright infringement of BTS.

BIGHIT MUSIC published a notice in English and Korean on BTS’s artist copyright and trademark use without permission, announcing they would take strict measures against it.

We have been tracking strict measures against companies that have been repeatedly producing, selling, and distributing products that infringe on BTS’ portrait and trademark rights (‘rights violating products’).

It was revealed that inspection and investigation of unofficial BTS merchandise will occur at the venue of the upcoming free concert WORLD EXPO 2030 BUSAN KOREA CONCERT BTS <Yet To Come> in Busan

To protect the rights of our artists, we will conduct on-site inspection and investigation of counterfeit products, in conjunction with the Korean Intellectual Property Office at and around the venue of the WORLD EXPO 2030 BUSAN KOREA CONCERT BTS <Yet To Come> in Busan, to be held at the Busan Asiad Main Stadium on Saturday, October 15.

So, ARMYs are advised to be careful. BIGHIT MUSIC is making every effort to ensure that none will become involved in the consumption of counterfeit products.

ARMYs are just relieved that the statement released by BIGHIT MUSIC was just about copyright infringement and merchandise rather than the condition of a member. They’ve come to expect the worst.

This isn’t the first time BIGHIT MUSIC released a statement regarding unofficial BTS merchandise. The company did the same ahead of BTS’s PERMISSION TO DANCE ON STAGE – LAS VEGAS.
