BIGHIT MUSIC has issued a warning against trademark and copyright infringement of BTS.
BIGHIT MUSIC published a notice in English and Korean on BTS’s artist copyright and trademark use without permission, announcing they would take strict measures against it.
We have been tracking strict measures against companies that have been repeatedly producing, selling, and distributing products that infringe on BTS’ portrait and trademark rights (‘rights violating products’).

So, ARMYs are advised to be careful. BIGHIT MUSIC is making every effort to ensure that none will become involved in the consumption of counterfeit products.
We ask all fans who are planning to visit the concert to ensure that you are not adversely affected in any way by purchasing any of the above related products.

It’s common for people to take advantage of big events, such as BTS concerts, to make money off of fans. So, you can easily find cheaper, unofficial merch nearby. This even includes fan-made merchandise, such as that of fansites’.
This is exactly what they are talking about , fansite pictures, and illegal selling of those and merch made out of those too but yeah

ARMYs are just relieved that the statement released by BIGHIT MUSIC was just about copyright infringement and merchandise rather than the condition of a member. They’ve come to expect the worst.
This isn’t the first time BIGHIT MUSIC released a statement regarding unofficial BTS merchandise. The company did the same ahead of BTS’s PERMISSION TO DANCE ON STAGE – LAS VEGAS.
