“Laughing Stock” Quality Of P-Pop Group BINI’s Official Merch Angers Filipino Fans

“Divisoria-level quality 💀”

The official merchandise of Filipino P-Pop girl group BINI, particularly their lightstick known as the BINI Wand, has sparked significant backlash from their fanbase, BLOOMS.

The lightstick, notable for its blue handle and inner flower, has been widely criticized for its poor quality. Fans describe it as toy-like, lightweight, and made from low-quality materials.

Despite these shortcomings, BINI’s management, Star Magic of ABS-CBN, priced the BINI Wand at PHP 2,499, which many feel is overpriced for the quality.

Comments joked that the quality is “pang Divisoria” while the price is “pang mayaman.”

Fans have taken to social media X (formerly Twitter) to express their disappointment and anger.

One fan wrote, “I want to support BINI all the way, including buying their merch. But look at this: a 200 peso lightstick from Shopee looks more premium than the official 2500 peso one.

Another said, “You can’t blame BLOOMS for buying unofficial merch because the original ones are overpriced, exclusive, limited, inaccessible, and POOR QUALITY (esp BINI Wand).”

To make matters worse, the photocard that comes with the lightstick has unusual jagged edges, leading many to guess it was cut manually.

The unprofessional, high-priced merchandise frustrated BLOOMS who called it a “laughing stock.”

The overpriced merch with the lowest quality is a laughing stock,” they remarked.

Finally, they urged Star Magic to focus on releasing high-quality BINI content instead of selling low-quality items, which is hurting the girl group’s reputation.
