BLACKPINK Dominates The Charts And Breaks Multiple Records With “How You Like That”
BLACKPINK released their pre-release single “How You Like That” on June 26, and it already broke numerous records!
The single shot up straight to #1 on MelOn, Korea’s top digital streaming site. It is currently the only girl group song that debuted in this position in the past two years.
With over 100,000 unique listeners in the hour after its release, it became the record highest for all girl group comeback songs on MelOn! It currently has over 570,000 unique listeners in the site alone.
“How You Like That” further topped charts such as Genie, Flo, and Bugs. It even reached its 14th roof hit on Genie, showing that it was streamed more repeatedly in a single hour compared to other songs.
On an international scale, the pre-release single became the top girl group song with the most #1 records on iTunes. With 64 top positions, it surpassed “Sour Candy” by one spot.

The music video also broke records by reaching 60 million views in just 15 hours, faster than BTS‘s “Boy With Luv” at 17 hours.
