BLACKPINK Becomes The First Korean YouTube Channel To Receive The Ruby Play Button
BLACKPINK has become the very first YouTube channel owner of Korea to receive the Ruby Play Button.
As many subscribers to YouTube know, channels that reach 100,000 subscribers receive a Silver Play Button, channels that reach 1,000,000 subscribers receive a Gold Play Button, and channels that reach 10,000,000 subscribers receive a Diamond Play Button.
But the most successful YouTube channels that reach a whopping 50,000,000 subscribers receive the Ruby Play Button, which is different from all the rest.
The shape of the Ruby Play Button is different for each award winner.
YG Entertainment just shared a YouTube video titled “BLACKPINK — THE INVITATION” which many fans suspect is a hint at the revelation of the Ruby Play Button since they reached the target number back on October 5.
The “delivery date” has been revealed to be December 3 at 11 AM KST, raising the anticipation of what the Ruby Play Button will look like.
