BLACKPINK Makes History Entering The Top 10 Of The Billboard 200 Chart For 2 Consecutive Weeks
Since releasing their first full-length album THE ALBUM, BLACKPINK hasn’t let a week go by without breaking at least one history-making record and this week is no exception. Taking over the Billboard charts, BLACKPINK has once again made history!
Last week, BLACKPINK broke several records as they became the first K-Pop girl group in history debut at no. 1 on the Artist 100 chart and debut at no. 2 on the Billboard 200 chart.
Now, they’ve made history on the charts once more! According to Billboard’s latest chart on October 20 (local time), BLACKPINK’s THE ALBUM snagged a coveted spot on the top 10 of the Billboard 200 chart, coming in at no. 6.
In doing so, BLACKPINK has become the first K-Pop girl group to enter the top 10 of the Billboard 200 chart for 2 weeks straight!
Furthermore, BLACKPINK has also continued to sweep the Billboard charts, taking the top spot on the Top Album Sales chart and climbing to no. 5 on the Billboard Global chart with “Lovesick Girls”.
BLACKPINK also once again claimed a spot in the top 10 on the Billboard Artist 100 — a chart notorious for being difficult to enter as it combines several factors like album sales, radio airplay, streaming, and more — taking place no. 9 on the chart.
Sweeping the charts, setting records, and making history once more. Well, you know what they say, BLACKPINK is the revolution!
