As the members have spent more time apart, it is unsurprising that some have questioned the group’s bond with each other during this time. After Lisa was criticized for her alleged lack of support for the other members, the idol seemingly directly hit back at the claims.

Recently, Jennie spoke directly about the group’s relationships with each other.
Jennie is currently preparing for her solo album, which will be released this year. She has already unveiled one track, “Mantra,” and has already begun promoting herself.
The idol was recently interviewed by Billboard as their cover artist for the January edition of the magazine, where she talked about her work on the album.
Jennie also spoke about BLACKPINK, both musically and personally, and how they interact these days. The idol says that even though they’re all very busy, they take time to check in with each other when they can and celebrate each others’ wins.
We are all so caught up with life. Obviously, we can’t be calling each other every day. Even though we know we can’t see each other so much, it doesn’t really feel any different than all the other years because we know we’re here for each other. They’re literally a phone call away. And at this point, we respect each other’s space so much. So if there’s anything to be happy for, to celebrate, we’re all in it together.

She also spoke about their upcoming plans — which include a new album and tour — revealing her excitement at them coming back together with new life experiences.
I’ve missed the girls. I’ve missed doing tours with them. I miss our silly moments. I’m excited to see what everyone brings. You know, everyone took their own journey [during] this time, and I’m excited to share that with the girls. I want to say it’s going to be the most powerful [versions] of ourselves that anyone has seen.
