BLACKPINK‘s Jennie has captured the hearts of netizens with her legendary photoshoot for her Harper’s Bazaar Korea editorial, wearing Jacquemus.
Earlier in the month, Harper’s Bazaar Korea released teasers of Jennie’s cover for their upcoming issues and truly captured the hearts of netizens with her beauty.
On September 21, the full editorial was released in the print version and netizens shared photos and snippets from the interview online. In particular, it seems like the covers were the perfect teaser for what many are calling a legendary editorial.
The theme throughout seemed to be elegance. In the few photos in color, Jennie radiated diverse vibes, whether it was a close-up of her biting a cherry with bright red colors or using that same color to create a ballerina look, complete with a tutu, pointe shoes, and a red jumper.
Continuing with the ballet-core theme, which is something Jennie is known for, the photos went into black and white. While Jennie still sported a tutu and pointe shoes, she paired it with a plain white shirt, showcasing her toned physique.
The addition of the rose tattoo on her leg and feathers falling around her exuded lightness, as if she was floating.
The next looks also showcased Jennie’s physique and added more Hollywood glamor with a bra top with puffed sleeves and an elegant slip skirt that showcased the idol’s hips.
The final photos showcased more elegant looks that made Jennie seem like an actress out of a vintage movie.
When the photos were shared online, it not only attracted the attention of Korean netizens, but international fans loved the concept so much. Many even pointed out that they preferred this brand’s styling to anything she’s had in the past, particularly Chanel.
