Over 100k BLACKPINK Fans Are Falling For A Fake Jennie YouTube Channel

What’s going on…?

On December 23, 2023, BLACKPINK‘s Jennie unveiled her ODD ATELIER (OA) label. She created the company to “attract attention in a different way from what is usual or expected,” but that’s now happening in a way she might not have anticipated.

Ever since Jennie announced OA, fans have been eagerly awaiting new content, but some fans are now struggling to differentiate between official content and impersonations. OA has an official Instagram account, @oddatelier, and an official website listed there…

…but what about YouTube? Presently, the OA website only lists one official channel–Jennie’s–under the artist section. Other than that, only Instagram, Facebook, and X (formerly known as Twitter) are listed as official social media on OA’s main page.

Yet, an OA YouTube account, @oaentertainmentofficial, has gained 124k subscribers and over 938,000 views on an “official” Jennie trailer.

Although some netizens are pointing out that this trailer is apparently fanmade, many others don’t seem to have realized it.

The trailer’s comment section is filled with support and praise for Jennie.

At the time this article was written, the @oaentertainmentofficial YouTube channel had uploaded a second video, an OA teaser, that racked up 10,000 views in just one hour.

On X, fans are calling out fake OA social media accounts to bring the content to OA’s attention.

This trailer might be fake, but BLINK’s love and support for Jennie couldn’t be more real! Check it out here:
